I am a happily married homeschool mom with a sign shop/graphics/web design home-business.
My sister is a quilter and needed a way to organize her own stash of fabric.
I began cutting the corrugated plastic substrate, that is generally used for outdoor signage, as mini fabric bolts. It is lightweight, can be stored vertically or horizontally, and is acid-free, ROHS compliant, and FDA approved.
It will not harm your fabric.
These sheets are sized to fit on any standard bookshelf or bookcase, even the ones with doors. There are no notches cut into them (which would weaken the plastic), and they will accommodate any thickness of fabric, including felt, wool, cotton, polyester, minkie-type fabrics, and fleece.
